Stage 1

The first step, Pre Test Training, is an introduction to build YOUR confidence. Rigtalk uses real-life work situations and shows how to answer different types of questions that you will see in the Rigtalk test. Stage 1 should take 60 minutes (30 minutes for the listening and speaking section + 30 minutes for the reading and writing section) but you can take as long as you want.

Stage 2

There are TWO short Practice Tests – one for the listening and speaking section and another for the reading and writing section. Each one will take you about 10 - 20 minutes in total.  You can do the Practice Test as many times as you like.

Stage 3

This is the most important part the Rigtalk Proficiency Tests. There are 2 English language tests, 30 minutes assessing your reading and writing, and 30 minutes your listening and speaking.  Your Test Centre receives a grade for you for this section.

Stage 4

This section is called “Post Test Training”. It is only for students who need extra study to pass Stage 3 or to progress your English to a higher level.
